In her lecture “Choreographing You”, the head choreographer of the Hayward Gallery, Dr. Stephanie Rosenthal, examines to what extent installations of artists and choreographers direct the movements of exhibition visitors and thus turn the viewer into an active participants, a dancer in the work.

The lecture demonstrates that choreography not only takes place via the notation or filming of movement sequences, but is also present in sculptural works and installation.
